RCRA 40 CFR 265.16
Sound, responsible management of hazardous wastes is the duty of all generators under EPA’s Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). This eight-hour training course focuses on the specific obligations of Large Quantity Generators (LQG) as per 40 CFR 262.17(a)(7), but also covers provisions for Small Quantity Generators (SQG) and Very Small Quantity Generators (VSQG). The 2017 implementation of the Generator Improvement Rule provided some additional clarity and flexibility to hazardous waste generators. Beginning with waste identification, this course covers proper labeling, satellite and central storage, contingency plans and sound management and record keeping strategies. Universal Waste rules and use of the uniform hazardous waste manifest is also covered.
