OSH
In recent years, many general and prime contractors have mandated that subcontractors and their own employees attend this course. This training teaches recognition, avoidance, abatement and prevention of safety and health hazards in construction workplaces. Covered topics include: fall protection, ladder and scaffold safety, recognizing electrical, struck-by and caught-in /or between hazards, personal protective equipment and preventing exposure to hazardous materials such as asbestos, lead-based paint and silica. Upon successful completion of the class, students receive OSHA issued wallet cards.
There are no currently scheduled classes, however PTA can conduct this course for groups either at our training center or onsite at a client's facility. Contact Greg Ashman for further information.
