OSHA’s Hazwoper standard requires employees that respond to emergency releases of hazardous substances receive the appropriate level of training. Operations level responders are limited to defensive response operations which may include site control and confinement activities to prevent environmental impact of spilled material. The course focuses on ensuring the Operations level responder can implement the first few steps in their facilities Emergency Response Plan, use the necessary PPE and spill kits supplies. A 25-question exam is administered at the conclusion of the course. This course can be conducted onsite.There are no currently scheduled classes, however PTA can conduct this course for groups either at our training center or onsite at a client's facility.
