Generators of hazardous wastes are responsible for managing their wastes in accordance with EPA’s Resource Conservation & Recovery Act (RCRA). This 8-hour course focuses on the requirements of large quantity generators (LQG), but does cover the provisions that apply to small and very small generators. This program will assist those individuals in charge of their facilities RCRA program, but also the employees to ensure regulatory compliance. The generator must ensure that all employees are thoroughly familiar with proper waste handling and emergency procedures relevant to their responsibilities during normal facility operations and emergencies as per 40 CFR 262.17(a)(7). A 25-question exam will be administered at the conclusion of this course.
